Sunday sippers or bbq was a highlight. You can settle by the pool, have cheap cocktails all afternoon, and choose from a magnificent menu, with steaks grilled poolside. The hotel has a relaxed, warm, welcoming feel, which Mike and Dan (hotel owners) have created throughout the place. I was impressed by how helpful the staff were. Ask anyone a question and they give you accurate information, unlike the usual "no have" or "sorry don't know" responses at other hotels. Highly recommended.

The owner is sweet, and the staff are amazing. Patong beach is just a two-minute walk away, with markets all around. The property has cozy rooms and a good-sized pool. Amazing hotel.

The price is hard to beat, and I'd happily recommend the place if it fits your budget. There's a little restaurant out front and a pool on the second floor. Our room was a good size, and the bed and other basics were fine. The aircon sometimes got very cold and sometimes wasn't so cold, but staff were happy to help if there was a problem. One thing to keep in mind: the mosque sounds at 5am. If you're a light sleeper, that may be the only downside, though it's not the property's fault.

This was my fifth visit, and I keep enjoying the place more. The Sunday barbecue was a real highlight, with perfectly grilled meats and ribs and delicious sides. The staff were helpful and cheerful throughout, and owners Mike and Danny made us feel warmly welcomed. A gem of a hotel, and I can't recommend it enough.
