B2 Phuket Boutique & Budget Hotel

There were at least 50 mosquitoes in our room, and the bathroom’s fully transparent glass doors gave us no privacy. We spent our time swatting bugs instead of relaxing, and the room felt unhygienic. It was shocking that a hotel would rent it out in that state. When we asked staff for help, they wouldn’t cooperate. They didn’t offer another room or pest control, and there was no apology. They also refused support or a refund, despite the obvious problems. We packed up and left straight away, then paid ourselves for another hotel so we could salvage the trip. I rarely post a negative review, but this was one of my most uncomfortable and badly handled hotel stays. Think twice before booking.

The rooms are worn out and feel like a basement, with awful sound insulation. You can hear your neighbors and the motorcycles going by outside. Service was just so-so. I suspect some of the reviews are fake. Better to pay a little extra for a nicer hotel. I can’t recommend this place at all, it felt like a waste of money.

A nice budget hotel. And unrelated to the hotel, 44 dimsum is right out front and really good. Grandma is so sweet.

The hospitality was good, but I felt the location looked closer on the booking site than it really is. A cab from the airport took 40 minutes. It’s not convenient for Patong, the dolphin show, or the aquarium show. There are 7-Elevens 650 m and 1.2 km away, and so far I haven’t found an Indian restaurant nearby. We were given two single beds for a couple booking. The floor wasn’t very elegant, the AC seemed old and its swing function didn’t work. There was a towel, shampoo, and fridge, but no toothbrush or kettle. This was one particular room, so it doesn’t mean the whole hotel is the same. For what we paid, it wasn’t suitable. I’d give it two stars, though I put one to draw a bit of attention to the issues.
