On our last day, we handed over laundry after being clearly told it would be washed and ironed by the next day, before checkout. When we returned to leave, the bag of dirty clothes was still untouched behind reception. We also didn't get the room we'd originally booked. The room we were given was dirty, and housekeeping never came during our stay. It wasn't tidied, and even the toilet paper wasn't replenished. Reception staff were very unfriendly, showed no hospitality, and didn't take our concerns seriously. Poor hygiene, a broken promise and no professionalism. We won't stay here again and can't recommend it.

The service was terrible. I spoke to staff politely, but they didn't care and kept lying that things would be fixed. The pool was under maintenance when I arrived and still was after I left. My room's air conditioner leaked for three days, and I eventually had to move to another hotel. The rooms had a strong sewage smell, and there was motorcycle noise from the street. The hotel is very far from Bangla Road, so I'd choose somewhere closer. Not recommended.

The pool wasn't running, and despite promises that things would be fixed, nothing got done. The rooms were very old, with a hard mattress that made sleeping uncomfortable. The hotel is very far from the bungalow. There was a broken sink, a terrible sewage smell, and the AC dripped water onto the floor, leaving a puddle that could make someone slip.

Cash only. The bedding was okay, but there was a gutter smell indoors, an ancient fridge, and old, noisy AC. The neighborhood was hectic in the daytime and there were rodeos overnight. I only slept one night out of four, and that was with ear plugs. No outside pool, no internet, and no coffee or tea in the room. At least there were no bugs.

One of the brothers who owns issara helped us pick some great dishes, and the food was absolutely delicious, every dish bang on. He also made us the best spicy margaritas. A great touch, bang on in Bang Tao!
