The staff were kind, attentive, courteous and caring, and the hotel was spotlessly clean, with fast internet and a TV that had more than 200 channels. My room was beautiful, well maintained and equipped. There was a small air conditioning issue, but it was fixed quickly. Breakfast was freshly cooked and warm, with quality ingredients. The selection was limited, but there were fun extras like coconut pudding, iced Thai tea, biscuits, cakes and cookies, plus freshly brewed coffee. The city-centre location is hard to beat, and the free parking is a real bonus. Can’t fault the place. Top marks!

Set in a short alley, this small, lovely hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The design is simple, with a strong local feel and a slight modern touch. It’s exceptionally clean. They also leave out complimentary bananas and pineapple cookies. Just be aware there’s no elevator.

We had such a fun time at the Blanket Hotel, and the food there was really good. New and Yuwarin were especially great, with lots of fun suggestions for markets. New also told us about some free activities around Phuket. The location was great too, an easy walk to Old Phuket Town with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

I slept really well, and the room was nice and clean. The service has a homey, hostel-style feel. Downtown is walkable, and I walked there for breakfast, lunch and dinner one day. If noise bothers you, you might prefer a room in the back row. There’s also an award-winning pizza place right next door, don’t miss it.

The only downside was having no elevator in a three-storey building. Otherwise, my stay at the Blanket Hotel was comfortable and stress-free, thanks to the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful from check-in through check-out. The front desk was efficient, gave me good local recommendations and handled requests quickly with a smile. Their hospitality made a real difference. I’d happily return, and recommend the hotel for its people as well as its comfortable amenities.
