Island Escape by Burasari

We’re on day 5 of our 10-day stay at Island Escape by Burasari, and it’s been just the restful break we hoped for. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, surrounded by nature, and a lovely place to slow down and recharge. There are three restaurant options, and the food has been amazing so far. Today we had a delicious vegan brownie, and the Italian restaurant has a breathtaking view. It’s the kind of spot where you don’t want the meal to end. Aura there was incredibly kind and attentive, and made the meal even more special. The gym isn’t huge, but it has everything I need for a proper workout, which matters to me even on vacation. The whole team has been warm and welcoming, and yesterday we saw a beautiful beach wedding that added to the serene, magical feel. If the next five days are like the first, this is a perfect place to rest, disconnect, and enjoy island life.

The setting is what makes this resort special. It’s surrounded by nature and greenery, with a lovely atmosphere that feels like a little paradise. We’re genuinely sad that today is our last day, and we’d recommend it to anyone considering a stay. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off. Our room with pool access was modern, beautifully designed, and spacious. We loved having our own little patio straight onto the pool. The shower was massive, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the room felt luxurious and relaxing, with great aircon. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. You feel taken care of from arrival. The food was great, with lots of variety at breakfast and a huge buffet with something for everyone. Room service was very affordable too. We’ve had an amazing stay and would absolutely book again.

The beach was beautiful, clean, and a great place to relax with kids. Our pool villa was spacious, private, and very comfortable, with true 5-star quality. The whole resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well designed. Ms. Tong was especially kind and helpful, always smiling and positive as she helped with everything we asked. The beach staff were outstanding too. They played with our children every day and were so friendly, patient, and kind. I don’t know their names, but they deserve recognition. We noticed a very positive improvement in service, particularly at breakfast. The staff were organized, attentive, and smiling, and the experience felt right for a resort like this. A small suggestion: breakfast on the beach would be lovely, given how beautiful the setting is. As a family with children, we found it a great place to relax, enjoy nature, and feel well cared for. Definitely worth visiting, and we highly recommend it.

We stayed from 3 to 5 November 2025 in a Deluxe Pool Access villa at Island Escape by Burasari on Coconut Island. We came partly to relax and partly to inspect it for our travel agency, and it exceeded our expectations. We’ll recommend it to clients and friends, and would love to return. Before we arrived, the team answered all my questions by email about the food menu and what was available on the secondary island. They were transparent and helpful, which is rare. They’d offered online check-in by email, so we completed it in advance. On arrival, check-in took less than 10 minutes, and our luggage was already at the villa. The boat transfer from the pier was smooth, and a buggy was waiting on the island. The driver, Mr. Night, was polite, friendly, and professional. He gave us an easy way to contact him for rides to the restaurant or infinity pool, and always arrived at our door within 5 minutes. The two-level villa was amazing, with direct pool access, 6 AC units, strong air conditioning throughout, TVs in the living room and bedroom, electric curtains, and impressive lighting controls. Even the bathroom curtain opened onto a private backyard garden. The technology was on another level. Breakfast was truly 5-star quality, with lots of choice and fresh food. We also had lunch and dinner at the resort, and both were very good. Ordering by QR code was easy. They called to confirm and delivered quickly. The infinity pool has lovely views and good drinks at the bar. There are restaurants and a lounge just outside the resort too. They also made a sweet “Happy Honeymoon” decoration for us. One evening after swimming, we left the balcony door open and two large flying insects came in. That was our fault. Room service came right away with proper equipment and handled it professionally. The spray smelled a bit strong afterward, but they solved the problem. A small gecko appeared in the villa too. That’s common in tropical places and didn’t bother me, though it might surprise some guests. I’d suggest more preventive fumigation around the villas before guests arrive to help maintain the ultra-luxury standard they’re aiming for.
