The location is decent, but the hotel itself is old and run-down. The bed and pillows smell greasy and old, and the showers and bathrooms are mouldy and broken. They said to hang a door sign outside if we wanted the room made up, and that they leave a couple of bottles of water each day when they clean. We chose not to have the rooms cleaned, then asked on day three if we could have a few bottles of water. It felt like pulling teeth, with resistance and rudeness. I know it’s a trivial thing, just a couple of bottles, but it’s about how they made us feel. We’re leaving a negative review because of it. It’s a budget hotel, and you get what you get, but I’d try somewhere else.

The room was spacious for a budget hotel, and the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We only slept here for one night, but everything was nearby, including a 7-Eleven less than 500 metres away.

Food places are everywhere, and Phuket old town is a five-minute walk away. The place itself is lovely and quiet, with a good location and very pleasant staff. A nice surprise.

You get what you pay for here, and it doesn’t cost much, which is great. I was really surprised by how good it was, and I’d definitely stay again. It’s a great short-stay option, with a clean, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, and the Old Town within walking distance.
