The quiet setting is handy for an overnight stay near the airport, though restaurants and sights are a bit further away. I found 88 Fine Hotel clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms, modern touches, and a good bed for resting after a journey. The staff were friendly, and they can arrange airport transfers for a small fee. Breakfast brought to the room was a nice personal touch. There’s free Netflix, decent Wi-Fi, and plenty of outlets, so it felt like good value. I’d happily return.

A clean, comfortable place tucked just off the highway, and it worked perfectly for a reset after I came in on the night train from Bangkok and cycled onward. They let me check in at 7:30 a.m. for a reasonable extra charge. You can order dinner from the menu over WhatsApp and have it brought to your room. There’s a large TV with Netflix, good internet, laundry service, and proper coffee in the morning. A fantastic noodle restaurant is a few kilometers up the highway. I’d stay again.

The staff were so accommodating, even lending me a charger until morning, and the hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport. My room was lovely, with a huge TV that already had Netflix logged in and a comfy bed. Great value too. Not sure why the rating is low, I’d ignore the lower score :)

I left without booking. During high season in Thailand, the online room price I saw was around 500 baht, but in person I was quoted 690 baht. I could have reserved online for about 460 baht, so the difference was disappointing. It made me feel like I was being charged more simply because I’m a foreigner. The whole experience felt sad and unfair.

Big thanks to the receptionist. She carried our bags up to the second floor, and she was strong as hell. In the morning she made us coffee and breakfast too. She was cute, too. Cheers!
