The Episode Boutique Hotel

The in-house cafe was excellent, especially the bakery items, and we really appreciated the reasonably priced transfers arranged by the hotel. Getting to the train station is a short trip by car or long-tailed canoe. The room was large and tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and lovely river views. Service was friendly throughout. This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our three weeks in Thailand, and I'd strongly recommend it.

The staff at both the cafe and hotel were so sweet and helpful. We had a lovely stay, with a clean, cozy room that was just the right size and a nice atmosphere around the hotel.

We only spent one night here while passing through, but the surrounding area looked interesting enough that I could happily stay longer. The hotel is small and wonderful, and everything was immaculate. There's a lovely riverside setting across from town, plus a modern bathroom, air conditioning, a large bed, and great pillows. The owners' attention to detail really shows.

We chose this for our last night in Thailand, and it was a lovely way to finish the trip. The owner and staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are beautifully designed and the atmosphere is relaxing. At the river-facing cafe we enjoyed good drinks, a nice vibe, table games, and tasty quick meals that were international or fusion rather than Thai. They also had fishing poles and bait, so our kids, aged 7 and 9, got to try fishing. If we're in Surat Thani again, this will be our go-to place.
