Nantharom Hotel and Restaurant

I stayed in this easy-to-find small town for a couple of days while visiting nearby golf courses, and this hotel worked out well. My wife usually worries about the room when I travel alone, especially whether the bedding and blankets are clean. They have their own laundry system, so the bed was nice and cozy.

We paid 600 THB for the night, and I was very happy with the stay. We were on a two-week business trip around Chachoengsao and found this place while looking for somewhere in the area. From a distance it looked like an abandoned resort, but up close the style is just rustic. There's plenty of parking, and the staff were welcoming. The layout is clever, with a balcony and a good view from every room. Ours was on the top floor, where the view was decent. The room was spacious and dimly lit, though bright enough, with the basics all there: air conditioning that cooled over time, a working refrigerator, wardrobe and vanity, sofa and table, TV, Wi-Fi, and two power sockets plus an extension cord for charging four devices. We also had two bottles of Namtip water, a double bed with two pillows and a quilt, two towels, two sets of shampoo and conditioner, two soaps, two new tissue rolls, and somewhere to dry clothes. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas. The kitchen closes at 8:30 pm, and the menu can be limited depending on the day, but they can offer other meats for people who don't eat pork. The portions were generous and the food delicious, especially the crispy pork skin, which was juicy too. I'd recommend the place.

That bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room itself was clean and basic, and the AC worked well. Check-in was friendly, even though I arrived pretty late, around 10 pm. Shame there wasn't a kettle in the room for hot water.

The rooms are clean and roomy, and there are vegetarian and vegan choices. Food and drinks are good and priced like normal Thai places. Ms Pen and Han were very helpful. I'd recommend staying here.
