It's a bit of a walk from both the station and the town, but there's a shortcut over the railway that Google Maps doesn't show. The walk to either the station or town center takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Still, the location is inconvenient since there's not much on the far side of the station. I paid 350THB for a double room with a fan, private bathroom, hot water and a refrigerator. All the rooms have air conditioning, but I really liked that they removed the remote and provided a fan instead, which made the room cheaper for an aircon hater like me. I wish more hotels offered that.

There’s a 7-11 just over five minutes away on foot, though the train station and the beach are each about a 20-minute walk. Check-in was at the mini restaurant/shop at the back, where they offer free coffee in the morning. There’s also a reception area with a bell, some washing machines and a water machine. My room was quiet, very clean and spacious, with a comfy bed. The aircon and shower both worked well, and the mini fridge came in handy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Recommended when in PKK.

It isn't a luxurious place, but it was a nice, affordable spot to stay overnight before continuing my journey. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, not too hard. The owner was friendly and looked after me, helping with everything. They even lent me their motorbike when I wanted to go out for something to eat at night.
