Spotlessly clean, fresh, and nicely presented, with a great view of the temple on the hill. It’s one of the best hotels or hostels in Thailand, and perfect if you’re visiting to watch Prachuap FC. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach and town center, but the location between the bus and train stations is handy. Great value too.

MunRuk is a great hostel, really clean and quiet, and a lovely place to relax. The dorm is spacious and comfortable, with privacy curtains, a lamp and outlet at every bed, and a big locker for your things. Bathrooms are very clean and nice, with shampoo, body wash, and hot water. There’s a small kitchen with everything you need, plus a common area with couches and a big table for meals or working. You can use the bikes for free or rent a scooter for 200. It’s within walking distance of 7/11 and Mackro, and the city is close too. The bikes make it easy to get to the markets or beach. I loved this place and will definitely come back.

The front desk folks were friendly and spoke reasonable English. We had the double room in this nice, clean hostel. The mattress felt a bit hard at first, but we got used to it. Free bicycles are available, and you can rent a scooter for 200 baht a day without any hassle.
