Prachuap Beach Hotel

The staff were friendly, and the hotel is right on the esplanade, close enough to walk to food stalls and foot massage places. There’s good parking in the new building, with some shaded spots. From 7 am to 1 pm they serve a small breakfast with delicious fried dough sticks, and there’s free do-it-yourself coffee and hot chocolate throughout the day. The downside was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom and toilet drains in room 209. It also reached the corridor outside our room. The building is old.

It’s a good hotel, but the WiFi was a little weak. I’d have given it five stars if the TV had English channels.

The sea views were a highlight, especially the sunrise over the bay from a sea-view balcony. The hotel sits right on the seafront, with the promenade close by for a walk in the morning or evening. Its location also makes it easy to reach night markets, temples, small local cafes, Ao Manao beach, and the famous Wing 5 area on foot or nearby. My room was clean and spacious, with simple decor and the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was firm but comfortable, and housekeeping kept things fresh. Some rooms have been updated more recently than others, though the quality overall is good for the price. The staff were warm and helpful, offering advice about local attractions, arranging transport, and suggesting nearby seafood restaurants. With its affordable comfort, beachfront setting, and friendly service, Prachuap Beach Hotel is a great value. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Prachuap Khiri Khan.

The bed and pillows were comfy, and the shower was hot. The people there were friendly, and they offer free coffee in the foyer from 7 am to 1 pm.
