Il Mare Resort

The room is spacious and well laid out, with direct access to a private beach. But the shower area floods, there's no hot water, and the balcony doors have no locks, so mozzies can get in. The TV is only 20 inches and 5-6 meters away, so I needed a magnifying glass to see it. Parking fits very few cars, making it a touch and go experience. Wifi doesn't work, and although breakfast is supposed to run until 1030, it was all gone by 10am. My wife and I were not happy campers. This should cost much less so expectations aren't too high. Stay away. Nothing works, and there are many better properties around here for your money.

If you want somewhere quiet and affordable, this little beach resort is a good fit. The area is peaceful, with just a few local restaurants and no shops or busy bars. Hua Hin is about 30 kilometers away, around a 40-minute drive. The staff are friendly, and the small rooms are clean, though they’re a bit faded. The beach here is natural and secluded, with no services.

Breakfast was below standard, and the place felt far too expensive for what you get. We were the resort’s only guests.

The manager and staff were really helpful, and the food was good. The price felt completely fair for the quality. I’ll definitely come back.
