The little private balcony faced the street, and the location was great. Comfortable, with everything we needed.

After booking through booking.com, I arrived at 10pm to check in and found no one at reception. I tried to sleep in an uncomfortable chair while waiting, then left at 2am. I got an email at 6am saying I could check in then. They ignored my messages about a refund. Don't stay here.

We had a street-facing room with a small balcony, and it was fun to watch everything happening below. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the location puts you right in the middle of the action. The new owners made us feel welcome with a smile whenever we came in, and the service for my wife and me was fantastic. We'll be back.

Our room was spacious, clean, pleasant, and quiet, and it made for a peaceful stay. The place has only recently opened, so there are a few things still to improve, but they seem temporary. The owners and staff were warm and sincere, and looked after us very well. It's in a nice spot for getting around the whole old town. We'd love to come back.

The hostess and manager was so sweet and ready to help, always checking we were okay. She shared useful tips and helped us arrange day trips. The hostel itself is cozy and clean, right in the heart of Chiang Mai. There are temples less than a minute away, the walking street and ‘night market’ is on the same street, and plenty of good restaurants nearby. We really loved our stay and would recommend it.
