The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the shared area is a very relaxed place to hang out. The rooms are spacious and clean, with cupboards and wardrobes. It’s on a quiet side street, so there’s no traffic noise. I’d recommend staying here :)

The place is well looked after, and the peaceful atmosphere made me want to come back and enjoy that space again when I’m in Chiangmai. There are lots of flowers on the lovely front porch. It was also nice to have free hot water, tea, and coffee throughout the day.

Panda House Chiangmai is good value, and it’s hard to find a place like this for the price. The manager is super friendly, accommodating, and funny :) My private room does the job since I only use it to sleep. The king size bed is comfortable, and the shower has hot water with good pressure. I especially love the relaxing bohemian garden terraces at the front and side. Conveniently, everything you could need is right at your doorstep! 🌺❤️🌴🍃🌺🌴🌷

The friendly staff were always smiling and welcoming, and the entrance balcony is a cozy spot to relax or smoke, with plenty of seats and carpets. There are usually great people hanging out there. We came twice, mainly for the location, welcoming atmosphere, and the best mattress we’ve had in Thailand. Both stays were three nights in a fan room, and we got the same room each time. On the second visit we got bitten by bedbugs, though we hadn’t on the first. We also had no hot water either time, so showers were short, cold, and refreshing, and limited to daytime. We didn’t complain about that or the bedbugs, given the low price and short stays. The toilet seat was sticky and broken the first time, but had been replaced by the time we returned almost a month later. We’d still be happy to come back and recommend the place. If you can, consider an AC room, which seems better and costs only 100 baht extra.

The room was very worn and old, but that fit the extremely low price. It was fine, and I didn’t find any bugs.
