Pineapple Hills Resort

The staff were flexible, reliable, and always tried to help sort out problems. The flats are nicely arranged, and having a western kitchen is a plus. There’s also a swimming pool that’s kept fairly clean. Privacy is a real issue here. The layout means people can see what you’re doing unless you keep all the curtains closed. Noise can be a problem too: construction next door may wake you in the morning, and noise from neighbors, kids, or parties carries around the pool and seems amplified. It depends a lot on who’s staying nearby, since the rooms are rented for both short and long stays. The rooms are a bit dated, and after about 15 years, not everything works well, so don’t expect perfection. If quiet and privacy aren’t a concern for you, you can really enjoy staying here.

The resort is about 15 to 20 minutes from Hua Hin centre. I stopped by to look at it for a friend. It’s a fairly large place with three pools, nicely decorated bedrooms, and a spacious kitchen and living area. It was quiet when I visited, with few people around.

A peaceful, well-kept resort that works nicely as a base for exploring the area, where there’s plenty to see 😎 They offer both short and long-term lets. A new villa complex is being built just to the left of the resort, but it isn’t too close, to be fair.

The place wasn’t cleaned properly after the person responsible left the resort. If something goes wrong, you have to contact them on Handy. The worst part was that the person in charge seemed drunk most of the time and was then very rude to customers.
