Lovely views, and the people here are super friendly.

I had a comfortable night's sleep in the cool weather at the end of the year. The room looks out over rice fields, and there are local cows around that you can photograph. There’s a separate camping area behind the rooms. The accommodation is close to Phu Kha Shrine and Sila Phet Waterfall, so you can visit the shrine and go for a swim. Just be prepared for very cold water.

The setting has a nice rice paddy feel, and I found the price reasonable. The water from the natural source may not look as clear as city tap water, and the entrance alley is pretty narrow. Still, the atmosphere is good, and I recommend the place.

The rice porridge was fragrant and delicious, and the caretakers were warm, smiling, and gave great service. The price isn't high, either. When my family visited, the fields hadn't been plowed yet and there was only grass, so the green fields and golden rice, with drizzle and mist on the mountain tops, were something we could only picture. The surroundings are beautiful, with mountains, fields, cows, buffalo, huts, and a rural feel. It brought to mind a rainy-day landscape. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.
