A good, quiet, clean spot to relax, with a very friendly owner. The balcony has a nice view, and there's a bathtub to unwind in. Breakfast was a champion's spread.

It's a short walk to several restaurants and Wats, and the view over the rice fields to the mountains is wonderful. The room was very clean, and having a bath on the balcony was a nice touch. I held back the fifth star because the bed and pillows were rock hard, though some people may like that.

The couple who run this spotless homestay live downstairs and treated us like family. We were worn out from a long ride, and they even brought us a meal. The place is gorgeous, with mountain and rice paddy views, plus modern facilities like air con, a shower, toilet, and a deck. It was better than most hotels and resorts we've stayed in.

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and the mountain scenery in the distance is fantastic. Sawaddee Pua Homestay really is a cozy place, just as its name suggests. I stayed for a couple of days and would recommend it for the surroundings.
