Parking right beside the bungalow was handy, and the bungalows themselves are clean, well cared for, and have comfortable beds. The room service Thai food was tasty and inexpensive, though the portions were on the small side. Western dishes were listed but weren't available. The room lighting needs work. There wasn't a working light at the desk or a reading lamp by the bed, and there was no bedside table for glasses, a phone, or a book. Breakfast matters to me, and the 150 Baht “American breakfast” was mediocre at best. The ingredients seemed worth under 20% of what it cost, and coffee and juice weren't included, just a glass of water. Older reviews suggest breakfast used to be much better. If it's not important to you, you may be happy here, and you can bring your own food or pick up a snack at a convenience store. For me, as a frequent traveler, that breakfast means I won't return.

I slept peacefully, with no road noise, and really liked this new, cozy, convenient hotel. The separate houses have a simple, minimal gray metal and glass look, new furniture, very white clean sheets, a spacious American-standard bathroom, and a new TV. The area around them is simply but nicely decorated. Breakfast was arranged beautifully, restaurant-style, with American, vegetarian, and Thai choices. We tried the first two. For dinner I had Thai-style shrimp fried rice, which was tasty and nicely presented. I recommend staying here in Ranong.

The separate units have attractive, unusual architecture for this price range, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated being able to park right outside my unit. They even let me rinse the dirt off my car with the hose near the front of the property. A great place to stop overnight while passing through Ranong.

The breakfast was the best we've had in Thailand in 30 years. They brought it to the bungalow, with generous portions, a good range of choices, fresh fruit, and special treats. The detached designer bungalows are modern and roomy, with a big bathroom, bed, and flat-screen TV. There's no pool yet.
