The staff were warm and helpful, and breakfast was first class. Our deluxe room was very comfortable, with quiet, effective air conditioning, a good hot shower, and an electronic toilet that was a novelty. The decor was lovely and tasteful, and the huge 50" TV was great, though there were barely any English-language channels, so bring entertainment on a USB stick or hard drive. The lighting made shaving tricky, and mugs would have been more useful than cups. There aren't many restaurants you can walk to, but there is plenty of street food, plus a huge food court about five minutes away by taxi. ATMs are scarce nearby. You can usually find one outside a 7eleven, but changing money means taking a taxi to a bank or currency exchange. A pleasant stay, and I rate and recommend the hotel highly.

The breakfast was good, with rice and noodle dishes as well as a live omelette station, which was the best part for me. The hotel has nice interiors and clean rooms, and the staff are friendly. Communication can be a little tricky, but Google Translate comes to the rescue.

Breakfast was good, and the place looks really lovely. Some things weren't working, like the jacuzzi in the pool and the electronic compact. There were also lots of doves around the pool, with their droppings. I'd say 4.5, normally!

The Wi-Fi was weak and kept losing its signal, which was the one problem I ran into. Otherwise, the room was nice, breakfast was good, and the hotel staff were friendly. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and the station and market are only a few minutes away by car.

The city is spread out, so expect to do some walking. Still, this is a great hotel for a very affordable price, with lovely rooms and great staff. We had a 50-inch TV with Netflix.
