In Chom Bueng, Ratchaburi, this is a lovely resort with rooms starting at 500 THB. Upstairs rooms are clean and tidy, with a private bathroom, fridge, TV, and air conditioning. The glass door means you may want to draw the curtain for privacy. Paying more gets you a downstairs room, and there are also private bungalows with green grass around them. Breakfast is quite limited, with one choice: congee, Pad Thai, or coffee and bread. The staff are very friendly and communicate well in English.

Just what you need for a simple, nice hotel: clean and pleasant. The location was great, and the breakfast cafe had a sweet countryside feel.

The garden is beautiful, with cottages dotted around it and nearby. Cottages cost 700b and come with a double or twin beds; breakfast is included, either rice porridge or 3-in-1 coffee, but it’s nothing exciting. There are regular rooms beside each other for 500b, usually used by pickup drivers, who aren’t known for being especially polite, clean, or sober. Staff were welcoming, nice, and helpful, and there are restaurants around the resort. There isn’t really anything to do in the village. Try to avoid the garden maintenance day if you want peace. The lawnmowers run from 8am to 4pm and make it hard to relax. Cottage no. 4 had a badly draining shower and a broken mattress. I asked to move to cottage no. 3, which was better, but it’s beside the service area with laundry, cleaning, storage, and other activity, so it was even less quiet. I’d advise the property to maintain the rooms better, since the problems I found seemed to come from poor upkeep.

There are several room types at different prices, and they all seem affordable. Even the cheapest has the basics, including a cupboard, balcony for smoking or drying laundry, and a fridge. They also include free porridge for breakfast and serve coffee, so there’s no need to look for a cafe. Definitely worth the money.
