B2 Phuket Boutique & Budget Hotel

There were at least 50 mosquitoes in our room, and we spent more time swatting them than relaxing. It felt unhygienic and was shocking for a hotel room. The bathroom’s fully transparent glass doors also meant no privacy at all, which made us very uncomfortable. When we asked the staff for help, they wouldn’t cooperate or offer a room change, pest control, an apology, or any other solution. They also refused support or a refund despite the problems. We packed up and left right away, paying for another hotel ourselves to salvage the trip. I rarely write negative reviews, but this was one of the most uncomfortable and badly handled hotel stays I’ve had. I’d strongly advise others to think twice before booking.

After check-in, they gave my infant son a sofa to sleep on, despite my booking a family room. They called it a “single bed,” but it was on a window rack more than 3 feet high with no safety edge. Small children can’t climb up safely, and there’s a serious risk of falling at night. They just put a small sofa there and called it a bed. I’ll also share a video so people can see it clearly. The place itself looks like a warehouse converted into rooms, rather than a real hotel. The reception lady was unprofessional and argued instead of calmly explaining things, even though she didn’t have the correct information. I first showed my valid Thai driving license, but she said it wasn’t accepted. Then I showed my Thai resident card, which I’ve used many times in Thailand for hotels and everyday services. I’ve lived here since 2001. Passports are usually needed for immigration or banks, and even police stations accept this card. You can’t get one easily, only if you’re legally married and living in Thailand with Thai family. She still insisted that only a passport was allowed. When I asked why that rule wasn’t on their website, she had no answer. Poor service and an unsafe sleeping arrangement for children made this a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The rooms are worn out and look like a basement, and the sound insulation is awful. You can hear your neighbors and motorcycles outside on the street. Service was so-so. I think you’d be better off paying a little extra for a better hotel. I don’t recommend this place at all, money wasted. It definitely has some fake reviews.

A nice budget stay. This isn’t about the hotel, but 44 dimsum across from it is really nice, and Grandma is so sweet.
