Seaview Nchantra Pool Villa

The villa is in a peaceful spot on a cliff, not far from downtown Phuket, and the location is lovely. Sadly, the place is visibly worn down and seems to be run by untrained staff. The beach in front of the hotel is covered in trash. Service was slow, disorganized and ineffective. Four dinner dishes took an hour and a half to arrive, and honestly the food wasn’t worth waiting for. On checkout day I left belongings worth 1,000 baht in a shopping bag. I contacted the concierge late that afternoon with specific details, but staff didn’t cooperate in looking for it, saying the maid had already taken everything out. After a few exchanges, they started ignoring my messages. It could have been a much better place. There’s room for improvement, and it could have been an amazing 5-star pool villa, but sadly it doesn’t get there.

They really know how to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Set on a quiet beach, the hotel has what you need for a relaxing holiday: excellent service, plenty of breakfast choices, good lunch and dinner options, and a lively bar at night. The rooms are spacious, especially the two-level suites, and the plunge pools and balconies made evenings relaxing. It’s close to Phuket town for shopping and food. We had a couple of small room issues with the lock and TV remote, but otherwise it was a perfect stay.

After reading the reviews, I almost cancelled, but my family and I decided to go since we’d already paid. Glad we kept the booking. We got a huge, clean and spacious two-floor private villa with one bedroom, a jacuzzi and private pool. The swimming area looked a little old and could use an upgrade, and breakfast was okay. The staff were very friendly. If you’re not comfortable using the shared pool, you can swim in your own villa pool. We had a lot of fun, and my kid really enjoyed the stay. Thanks for the affordable price and warm hospitality. Loved it!

My friend and I stayed for three days in a suite with a private pool. The room was clean, though it could use updating, and its style made it seem like the place was built in the 2010s. The staff were kind and accommodating. Not everyone spoke English, but we managed to communicate well. We loved the clean private pool, and the hotel’s bar and pool area was nice too. The music there wasn’t too loud. We didn’t see many other guests, which meant we had the pool to ourselves several times. The food was pretty good, though most of it was VERY spicy. It’s out in the country, about 20-30 minutes from town, but they offered a 24-hour shuttle to 7/11 if needed. We had a great time.
