Laem Nga is a wonderfully secluded beach, about an hour's walk away or 5 min by bike. There are several other quiet beaches nearby, too. The neighborhood is beautiful, a small village away from the hub. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a hot shower, great AC, mini fridge, balcony with windows, and all the amenities. There's a lovely shared garden as well. I've traveled in a handful of countries, and this is one of the nicest and most peaceful places I've stayed, for either a short or long visit. Ms Sunee really is sunny, and she and the staff look after you like you're at home. They also respect it if you'd rather have privacy or time alone. A hidden gem, truly perfect.

Siray House is a solid choice at 1000 - 2000 per night, matching or exceeding expectations in every way. It's consistent, which counts for a lot. There's plenty of parking and hardly any road noise. The boss lady is a sweetheart, so be kind to her and I'm sure she'll be kind back.

The owner was great and helped us arrange a boat and get to it for Phi Phi island. Our room was clean and comfortable, with wifi, air conditioning, and a hot shower. There was also an enclosed deck with a sink, a large refrigerator, a microwave, complimentary water bottles, and coffee.

Sunee was so friendly, even driving us in her own car to exchange dollars and go shopping. It's a great place to escape the city's bustle, and I absolutely recommend it. We miss you so much, Sunee. Thank you for everything!
