Siamdasada Khaoyai

The hotel grounds are beautiful and well worth a walk around, and the rooms are very clean and well serviced. There’s a big communal pool too. Just five minutes away by car, the surrounding area has lovely views and lots of cafes and restaurants, with Khao Yao national park very close by. I can’t recommend it enough!

We wanted a quiet break away from family and time by the wooded outdoors, and SIamdasada Khaoyai has a beautiful setting with a pond. The complex was mostly empty during our three nights, apart from one night when there were quite a few guests, so most of the time we had the place to ourselves. The breakfast buffet was limited and didn’t offer much variety. Both the omelet and fried egg were served cold.

I’m here to cycle in the mountains, and the location is ideal. There’s a 5 km warm-up before the climbs, and the smaller roads around here are great for cycling, with almost no traffic and very polite drivers. There are cheaper places to eat nearby, and a 7 11 is 5 km away. The resort’s interesting menu has been very good, though the food isn’t cheap. The staff are helpful even if their English isn’t very strong. I’m staying in a de luxe pool access room and love it. It’s spacious and comfortable, the swimming pool is huge and lovely, and the wifi and flat screen TV are good. The resort feels like a park, with lakes, lagoons, and beautiful plants and flowers. Breakfast is standard western style, and okay. Definitely coming back!

It’s a beautiful, quiet hotel, far from everything, and nice for relaxing. Staff are kind and the food is average. There aren’t shops or hospitals nearby, and there’s no local transport service. Bolt doesn’t work in this area, though the hotel can arrange a taxi, which is quite expensive. Watch out for mosquitoes if you sit outside your room in the afternoon. I’d recommend this place for couples, not kids.
