We booked seven nights and left on the second day, giving up the money. The place felt lifeless, like a highway motel with a pool in the middle, with no holiday atmosphere. Poolside rooms have sunbeds right outside their doors, and people put towels on them every day even though the beds are for everyone. From the garden rooms, using those beds feels awkward because they’re right by the pool room entrances. Our garden room had two patio chairs, next to a hot, noisy air conditioner on a 30-degree day. There was no safe, tiles had holes, walls were filthy, the bedside table was just a piece of wood nailed to the bed, and some lights didn’t work. The unused bar in the middle was dusty and pointless. Our room had lots of mosquitoes when we arrived. Staff weren’t helpful when we asked for it to be fumigated and told us to buy spray at a shop. The gardens were poorly maintained, and coconuts fell onto the roofs day and night with huge bangs. The walls are thin, so you hear the neighbors. It was noisy, with no holiday feel at all.

I never usually write hotel reviews, and I’m an easygoing person, but I hope this helps someone avoid the place. The reception staff gave me a hostile feeling from the start and weren’t welcoming. The room smelled damp, and there was mold on the bed sheets underneath the frame. Mosquitoes were in the room and everywhere outside. I know it was Thailand’s wet season, but I came away with over 50 bites. The room felt like a prison cell with a sketchy window, and the bathroom looked straight out of the 90s. There wasn’t even a spoon for tea. I’ve stayed in better places for 250-300 baht. Please avoid.

The pool was clean, and there was plenty of parking in front. Our clean villa had everything working, including the air conditioning, TV, and hot water. The hotel is right on the beach road, with restaurants nearby. The pier and fresh fish market, which has more restaurants, are also not far away.

The property looked very dirty and the staff were rude, trying to con me. A woman at the front claimed to be from another hotel, took my money, then denied having it. When I challenged her, they checked the camera footage and told me no. The place I actually stayed at turned out to be much nicer. Avoid this place.

I love staying at Phuket Sea Resort. The two pools are amazing, the beds are comfortable, and the location is great. The staff are lovely too.
