Blue Beach Grand Resort and Spa

The pool was a real highlight for us, with different depths that worked perfectly for our young child. The resort was also conveniently close to Robinsons Mall, with easy access to Naiharn Beach and Rawai. We spent two weeks at Blue Beach Resort & Spa and felt at home from the start thanks to the warm, friendly staff. Everything was spotless, and the sheets were changed almost every day. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

At 5,545 THB a night, the so-called family room was easily the worst and most expensive room I've stayed in. It was no bigger than a standard double and seemed to offer little beyond two large beds. There were no toothbrushes, and we got just two towels for four people. The kettle wouldn't close properly, and the only mirror was a full-length one in the hallway. The old wardrobe had bubbling wood, no inside light, and flimsy plastic hangers like the ones you'd use at home. Toiletries were very limited. The phone didn't work and looked like it was just for show, so I went downstairs to ask for supplies. They said everything was out of stock until noon the next day. The bathroom smelled awful. The pool looked neglected, and the area was completely dark at night, to the point that it felt unsafe to walk nearby. Wi-Fi was worse than a one-star hotel: only the lobby had it, with none on the floors or in the room. This place is outdated and well behind current hotel standards. The whole stay was extremely disappointing and a waste of money. It was advertised as five-star, but didn't meet even one-star standards.

The location was quiet and relaxed, with nice food places nearby, and room service was available. My only real downside was that the bar and restaurant shut at 6 pm. I'm not sure if that was because it was out of season. The staff were friendly and so helpful, and my room was lovely. I even got a free upgrade to a beach view.

The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and clean, and the staff were always cheerful and ready to help. We loved the peaceful setting, ocean views, pool, and beach access. We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Beach Grand Resort & Spa and would highly recommend it for a Phuket getaway.
