Chalong Beach Front Residence

The room was superb, and the pool was great. Staff were friendly too, so this was a great find for our holiday. Check-in was a bit unusual, with a staff member relaying things in English from a guy, but it all went efficiently.

It was peaceful and away from the noise, but we found the beach disappointing. It wasn't clean and wasn't suitable for swimming at all. We stayed for three days. The staff were good, though they didn't speak English. The place is a little far from everything, so we were glad we'd rented a car because it made getting around easier. There wasn't a breakfast option, but nearby halal restaurants can give you a good start to the day.

We had good value for money here, and found some nice restaurants nearby. Everyone was friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the pool looked out toward the beach. You'll need a scooter to get around, and at low tide the beach can have plastic and isn't as pleasant, though that's not the hotel's fault. The kite school was perfectly located near us for trying e-foiling.

The only downside for us was that you can't swim at the beach. Otherwise, the Seaview pool access luxury room was perfect. It was better than the pictures, with all the basics plus a kitchenette, chimney, refrigerator, and microwave. The pool was great and the sea view from the room was amazing. The owner was helpful and spoke good English, and the staff were very friendly. Check-out was hassle-free, and the owner didn't even check our room. We'd definitely recommend this place.
