Chanakarn Pool Access Rawai

The pool was nice and the air conditioning worked great, but some basics fell short. The breakfast was very small, usually one Thai dish, toast, and a fruit, so we ended up getting breakfast from 7 eleven. We also had bad wifi and some ants. Our room was cleaned every day and we got fresh towels, but all the towels and bed sheets had stains. The location was okay, with lots of restaurants, massage shops, and nail shops along the road, though it's a busy road. All the beaches are pretty far and you need a ride to get there, and it would be good to have a bike. Most boat tours don't even offer pickup around that area. We had a pretty okay time.

The pool area looks bright and modern, with plenty of places to sit, and it seems to be the hotel's main draw. My room was a different story. The AC struggled to cool it, and even closed, the curtains let in a lot of light. The bathroom was spacious, but it was hot and humid because of a vent to the outside. There was dried toothpaste and hair left on the walls from previous guests. The bed was large, though it was just a mattress on a marble block, so it felt extremely hard and had no support. The bottom sheet had black stains and wasn't tucked in. I changed hotels after two days because the room felt poor quality and uncomfortable. I'd only stay here for a night or two, since cleanliness and comfort were lacking.

The room was spotless each day thanks to housekeeping, and everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. I slept really well, and the clean, relaxing pool was a highlight. I'd happily come back next time I'm in Phuket. Highly recommend it.

I booked late while coming to train at Action Point Rawai, and they were full. This place was only a 5 minute walk away, which worked out really well. The rooms are roomy, the beds are big and comfortable, and the pools are refreshing. I also had tea and coffee facilities, daily water, a microwave, and a mini fridge in the room. Kipkaye at reception was very helpful, and the staff were all friendly. It had everything I needed. Nai-Harn beach is 10 minutes away by grab moped, and Kata beach is 15-29. I'd stay again.
