In four years of living in Thailand, this is the best place I’ve stayed. The little bungalows are lovely, each with a private plunge pool, and the staff are so kind and always ready to help. When I got stuck, they even helped me collect my bike. They give you free mineral water and fix things quickly, and they clearly love animals. My dog got cuddles and an excited greeting every day. I really can’t say enough good things about the place.

Coconut Grove felt like its own little bubble, with all the plants and decor around the newly renovated hotel. The staff were friendly and the owner was especially helpful. I had such a good time that I’m thinking about buying one of the villas, spending winter in Thailand, and renting it out while I’m away. Highly recommend.

It’s a peaceful place, and they bring breakfast right to your room. The staff are really friendly and speak English fluently. They can help with information, maps and tours, and you can rent a scooter at reception. The rates feel fair for what you get. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Phuket.

The view was really nice and I liked the breakfast, but I gave it 2 stars because of my first experience. The air conditioning and ceiling fan didn’t work, and suddenly there was no water for my bath. I’d also rented a motorcycle, and its tire went flat without warning.

The place felt private, and the staff were very helpful. But the bed was uncomfortable, with an uneven mattress, and the old, worn bedding needs replacing. There were lots of mosquitoes too. The pool looked much bigger in the picture. In reality it was more like an outdoor bathtub than a pool.
