We loved our stay at Villa Sukjai. It was spotless, thoughtfully maintained, and the pool was a highlight, set beside a stunning garden. The location was ideal, with a convenience store and several good restaurants just a short walk away, and the nights were very quiet. Victor handled our check-in and check-out professionally, and his suggestions for local restaurants and activities were spot-on. We highly recommend Villa Sukjai. It felt like a real paradise!

The villa is attractive, roomy, and set a comfortable distance from everything, but our stay was still very disappointing. We kept running into problems that made the place hard to enjoy. Water stopped running every morning and evening, so we had to wait for a tank to be brought in. We only learned later that the old reservoir drains slowly. For the price, that was unacceptable. The door lock also failed repeatedly, and we had to wait around more than once while it was dealt with. On arrival, despite having shared our arrival time, we first waited 40 minutes just to check in. We were told about the electricity charge only after booking, with no clear notice beforehand. It felt misleading, and we understood that this charge was not allowed. We also found windows behind the sofa left wide open behind a curtain. The air conditioning was running for nothing, and our belongings were within easy reach, which left us feeling unsafe. Some issues were eventually handled, but communication was really poor. Staff were in a group chat, yet nobody gave proper answers to our complaints. The manager didn't respond, and we had to take the initiative ourselves to get anything arranged. Poor upkeep, unexpected costs, and communication problems made for a very mediocre stay.

The villa looked lovely and the location suited us, but basic things kept going wrong during our two-day booking. We couldn't shower before leaving on the last morning because the water wasn't refilled at all. The reservoir ran dry, and we waited about an hour for the tanker each morning and evening, five times in total. It was a frustrating waste of time, especially after coming back in 38-degree heat and not being able to wash. The front door lock also failed twice, leaving us waiting a long time both times. We were charged separately for electricity, which we believed wasn't permitted under Booking.com rules. We repeatedly asked the owner to get in touch so we could talk through the problems, but never got a reply. Such a shame, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.
