The room had ants and spiders, and when I reported that someone had been inside, staff just shook their heads and said nothing. My £160 jumper and phone charger were stolen, and there was a strange man smoking in my room. If you’re even a couple of minutes late checking out, they cut the electricity, bang on the door, and threaten to call the police. Once the housekeeper has left, you can’t ask for fresh towels.

It’s affordable for either a short or long stay, and handy for Rawai pier and beach. Shops and the market are close by too.

The room was fair, and the price was cheap for a good location. But management was very poor. We told them we’d check out in three days and stayed elsewhere during that time, but we still had our room key. They used a spare key to get in, cleaned the room for the next renter, and moved our belongings as they liked. We lost some things. Very disappointing.

The place itself is fine, but the stealing going on is a serious problem. A Burmese gardener stole from my bike. I caught him, but the staff did nothing, and he still works there. He’s also stolen from multiple people’s rooms and caused a lot of trouble, yet they keep employing him. He has access to some building keys, which is dangerous. I don’t understand why they won’t fire someone who steals from customers. Maybe he’s cheap or does a good job, but that doesn’t justify keeping him on. Don’t trust this place.
