Be careful with Facebook Marketplace, I think this could be a scam. I asked whether a room was available and if I could view it that day, since several different rooms had been listed. The reply was really rude for no reason. Very strange way to treat someone asking about a room.

The person I contacted about renting a room was the rudest person I've ever spoken to in Thailand. I asked for photos, and they asked if I was drunk, then said they wouldn't want to see me there 😂 I really don't recommend this place.

The water caused problems throughout my stay. Several times nothing came out at all. When it did, it was dirty and yellow, smelled bad, and sometimes had black rust in it. The owner took no responsibility and didn't properly resolve these serious issues.

For a fair price, this guesthouse is great value. It's well located, close to the nice restaurants by the beach, but still quiet and away from heavy traffic. My room was clean and had a balcony, a private hot shower, a fridge, and free coffee and tea. The air conditioning worked really well, and they cleaned every three days and provided towels and toiletries. That was all I needed for a good eight nights in Rawai. Shops and restaurants are nearby, though you'll need a motorbike for much else. You can rent one from the owner, who's usually around, helpful, and always making improvements. I'll come again!
