The Title Condo By Tropiclook

Our apartment is clean and tidy, but the complex’s management and security are lacking. The posted rules say no eating or drinking in the pool and no infants at certain pools. We’ve literally seen babies having their nappies changed poolside at those clearly marked no-infant pools. Today my wife was told off for quietly having coffee on her sun lounger, while two Russian men drank beer in the pool in plain view and were ignored. Security could see them opening and drinking the beers, as the video shows, but chose to reprimand my wife instead. It felt like a cop-out, as if he was afraid to confront the men. There’s no language in common with the staff, unfortunately, so talking is pointless. The staff are a joke. Rules are rules.

I strongly recommend not booking through Tropiclook. We reserved a week through booking.com, and while we were already in a taxi from another hotel to The Title condo by Tropiclook, the manager told us we’d have to move to another apartment they owned on the fourth day. We work, so packing everything in the middle of the workday, waiting around three hours, and checking into another room would have been very inconvenient. The Tropiclook managers offered no solution that worked for us. We went into the apartment to rest and figure out what to do, then found another problem: the room looked nothing like the stylish, cute apartment in the website photos. We were put on the first floor. It smelled damp, and the furniture was old, tasteless, and unkempt. Not recommended.

We rented this cozy apartment for 10 nights in October of 2017 and were happy with it throughout. The price was unbeatable for what you got, the host stayed open and friendly, and the amenities were great. There was A/C, a microwave oven, and everything worked, with tasteful finishes. Mirrors throughout made the room feel more spacious. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby, and there’s a small beach across the street. It’s more of a landing spot for vessels, but the sand is soft and the water is great. A tourist beach is quite far away, a 40-50 minute walk. The bathroom sink drained badly and overflowed easily, and the shower glass looked grimy despite having been cleaned, perhaps needing a thorough scrub. Wi-Fi was a major problem, though that was the complex administrator’s responsibility, not the apartment owner’s. It was available throughout the complex and had decent speed, but coverage fluctuated and you couldn’t connect more than two devices at once. Still, if you want to relax and don’t mind being disconnected from the outside world, it’s a good place for that.

The area has plenty of restaurant choices and sports activities nearby, and the apartment and facilities, including the pool, were really great. The condo is very new and clean. We stayed in building phase III, which was about a year old. I highly recommend this condominium complex.
