We were looking for somewhere away from the crowds, and Thuan Resort suited us perfectly. It's close to Raiwai and Nai Harn beaches, while Kata and Karon are about a 20-minute drive away if you want more activity. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, massage places and dive shops within walking distance. Thuan is friendly and attentive, the rooms get cleaned every day, and the pool is lovely for cooling off when you'd rather not be on the beach.

A lovely, clean place in a nice location. It's run by a kind Thai family who speak good English. We felt safe and welcome, and had plenty of privacy.

It's a nice, quiet resort away from the bustle. Grab rides are easy to find, so getting in and out of the neighborhood is simple. If you'd rather walk, the main road is seven minutes away. There are lots of shops nearby offering personal services and different kinds of food.

After spending too long in Kata beach, this felt like an oasis. The resort is peaceful, clean and friendly. Thuan, the owner, was so welcoming and accommodating. Renting a scooter from him was completely stress-free. Such a pleasure to stay here. Merci 😊

The pool and bar area were lovely to spend time around, and the resort is full of flowering hedges and greenery. There’s even a goldfish tank. Our modern apartment was clean and attractive, with good air conditioning, fans, a TV, fridge, and a handy kitchenette. The bedroom could be made completely dark. The host family and staff were warm and welcoming, and quietly took care of everything, from breakfast, drinks, and snacks to laundry. The neighbourhood felt pleasant, with calm residents, and the resort itself was private, comfortable, and stylish. We really loved our stay and plan to come back. A bathroom ventilation fan would help keep it airy in hot weather, especially in summer.
