Fortune Saeng Chan Beach Hotel Rayong

The beach is right across the road, with easy access to the sea and a smooth stretch that's comfortable for walking, without little rocks or stones. Back at the hotel, there's a good sized infinity pool overlooking the water and a well equipped gym. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, and the WiFi worked well. My one gripe is the key cards. When I asked for a second one, I was asked for a 300 baht cash deposit. It's the inconvenience more than the amount, and a hotel of this standard should provide two cards as standard.

Ohm, the front office manager, came over to check that everything was going well, and Care at reception was especially sweet and welcoming. The whole team was friendly and helpful, and I was impressed by how much effort they made to get around the language barrier. The hotel is right on the beach, with markets, stalls, and restaurants all within walking distance. The hospitality was top tier.

The sea view is stunning and really adds to the stay. I come here often with friends and always enjoy it. The staff are so welcoming and attentive, and P. Oh deserves a special mention for his professionalism and great service.

Our rooms had a superb view of the sea with sunlight reflecting off it. The sky stayed clear while we were there, close to New Year. The price through the AGODA app wasn't too expensive, and the employees were very friendly. The shower and toilet were great and very clean. There's a gym on the third floor and a dining room on the ground floor. My only complaint is that one room's AC vent was over the bed, blowing cold air at our faces even on the lowest fan setting. It'd be good if guests could adjust the airflow direction or reduce the speed further.
