Huaymuang Apartment

Everything was easy to get to on foot, so I left my motorbike behind this time, even though I've ridden one for the past three years. A 7-Eleven with laundry service is 5-7 minutes away, and there's a busy street nearby with plenty of food and activity. The hotel sits by a lovely lake, with direct access to the park and lakeside paths. The greenery, clean rooms, pleasant atmosphere, and stunning views, especially through the panoramic glass windows, made for a lovely stay, even if the hotel isn't brand new. The staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. I highly recommend it. Don't be put off by reviews saying the third-floor rooms are bad. Those guests may simply have been unlucky, and the staff are willing to sort out problems. Give the place a try, you won't regret it.

The evening chef was a real highlight. The meals were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable, even though I usually go for city restaurants and street food. I stayed at Huaymuang Apartments for four nights. After my first night in a standard room, I asked to move to the lakeside VIP room, and they gave me the upgrade for a small fee. The view from its window is lovely, the sort you could watch for hours. Thanks to Pang and Thai for helping with my requests. I'll know where to stay when I'm back in Ubon. Staff handled everything well and were ready to fix any issue, genuinely keen to make guests happy. The rooms are very clean and, for the price, feel like 5*. There's a bit of a colonial wood style and an old-fashioned TV, though Wi-Fi is available if you have a tablette. Don't pay attention to the claims about mosquitoes and broken glass, they're pure lies. Have a look at my photos and take it from me as a foreigner photographer (farang), thxs.

Happy days! The hotel room was lovely and spacious, the bathroom was nice, and the staff were friendly. It's conveniently close to the jaew horn restaurant and Huai Muang.
