Both Izen Hotels are great for the price. One tip for finding the one you booked: the written addresses can be unreliable, so give your taxi or Grab driver the Google Maps Plus Code instead.

The room itself was great, and they brought extra shampoo, toilet paper and water every day. The air conditioning worked decently. Getting checked in was a hassle: I’d booked through Agoda, but booking in person turned out cheaper, and Agoda couldn’t cancel. The woman at the desk was rude and condescending, spoke no English, and wasn’t helpful at all. There’s little within a comfortable walk, so expect to walk a lot or take transport.

Staff were very kind, polite and helpful, and the location is great, with food and malls nearby. I stayed in a tidy, very affordable Standard room. It didn’t have a curtain around the shower area, but that wasn’t a big issue for me.

For around 500 baht, this is a clean, comfortable budget room with free parking. It also has a lift, hot showers, decent WiFi, good air conditioning and a mini fridge. Pretty good for that price.

A very new place with what you need for a business hotel, at a reasonable price.
