The lady was really kind. I asked for extra pillows and she brought them to my room.

Being close to the sea was one good thing. Otherwise, the room was old, musty, and cramped, like it hadn’t been updated in 30 years. It smelled like a thousand pairs of unwashed old socks, and the fridge was awful. I slept in my clothes and put a T-shirt over the pillow, which is what I do when a place feels really dodgy. At 700 baht, it should have been 300.

The rooms were fresh and new, the kitchen served great food, and the staff were nice. I’ll come back.

Good place, with different prices. Just cross the road to get to the beach.

There’s good food for Farang, like French fries, fried potatoes with bacon and eggs, and hamburgers, along with plenty of Thai dishes.
