Rayong President Hotel

I compared three hotels in a similar price range, and this was one of the best in the city. The location is basically right in the city center. There aren't any 7/11 shops nearby, unfortunately, and the rooster farm just outside some windows can be very loud in the morning and during the day. If noise bothers you, you could ask for a room on the other side, if one is available. From there, you hear nothing. The staff were kind and friendly from my first contact through the official Line channel. They answered all my questions, handled my requests, and someone is always at reception, 24/7. Room service was excellent too. Daily guests can also have snacks in the lobby. The rooms are simple, neat, and modern looking, with the basics: a wardrobe, comfortable bed, small refrigerator, very good air conditioning, full HD smart TV, balcony, and bathroom. Everything was clean and in quite good condition, apart from a little inevitable wear. It doesn't feel tired like some other hotels. There are a tea kettle and microwave in the lobby. No hair dryer, though I don't need one. Wi-Fi matters a lot to me, and this connection seemed fairly stable, as much as public Wi-Fi can be. I had no major dropouts, and speeds were around 60-80 Mbit/s both ways. I haven't tried some of the other facilities, like the full circle laundry. I'm staying for a full month and am definitely satisfied so far. I may add more details later.
