After speaking with Naty, my first negative impression turned around. I’d been confused by the photos and reviews, but she was honest, caring, and clearly trying to help. She communicates openly and does her best despite the language barrier, and if a foreign guest has a concern or misunderstanding, she’ll try to sort it out kindly and sincerely. I also want to clear up the room categories, since an older review confused me too. I assumed the detached bungalows would cost more because in Europe separate houses are usually seen as nicer or more luxurious. Here, Class A is actually much smaller, so it costs less. Class N and Class P are semi-detached, but much larger, roomier, and more comfortable, which explains the higher price. If space and comfort matter, I’d strongly suggest Class N or Class P over Class A. The owner is willing to explain things clearly when there’s a misunderstanding. Thank you, Naty.

The reception and staff were wonderful, so helpful and full of good advice. They even arranged a taxi and explained the best ways to get around the area. This is an idyllic hostel, and I can't recommend it enough.

I had a wonderful night's sleep in the larger bungalow, which has a king-size bed, bathroom, and balcony. There’s also a smaller option with a futon mattress, bathroom, and balcony. The place is a peaceful little spot and really good value. The woman who greeted me was friendly and professional, and spoke some English. For breakfast she offered free coffee, white bread by the toaster, and bananas from the garden. If you need anything else, Seven Eleven is about half a kilometre away. Definitely recommend it.

A decent resort. There were some mosquitoes, but they didn’t seem to bite in an itchy way. 😂
