The villa-style design is nice and new, with roomy accommodation and attractive landscaping. Still, I don't think the 4.9 rating is deserved. There are several comfort issues inside: the shower temperature keeps changing, the toilet was blocked, and storage is basically one badly placed hook instead of a proper wardrobe. The safe isn't fixed down and can be moved easily. Housekeeping only comes if you leave the “Make Up Room” sign outside, and nobody explained that. At night it gets very noisy, with no soundproofing, until around 2:30 am. Breakfast leans heavily toward Thai dishes, with very few Western choices, and the staff could use more training, especially at breakfast. Outside, the beach across the road is neither clean nor appealing, and the nearby beach restaurants aren't inviting. There's potential here, but the comfort and service need work, particularly for foreign guests.

The beach is close by, which is a lovely extra for a family stay. We had a fantastic time in the family suite at The Season Resort Rayong, with loads of space and all the facilities and kitchenware we needed. The thoughtful details made it comfortable and convenient. I'd highly recommend The Season Resort Rayong to families after a relaxing, enjoyable break.

The pool was the best part for me. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were helpful. The buffet was good too, with plates of food to choose from. The bathtub room's bathroom layout might feel a little awkward.

Getting around was easy, and the hotel is easy to find, with the beach very close. The pool is beautiful, great for a swim or photos. It's new and very clean, and the friendly staff were helpful. Breakfast was clean and delicious, with plenty of choices. A great place for a family, and I think it's the best hotel I've stayed at.
