Tree Roots Retreat

What stood out most was how smoothly the retreat ran. Carol and her husband Dennis looked after everyone, and Aaron, the owner, was kind and funny, which made us feel at ease. Our group was happy with the comfortable rooms and the tasty food throughout the stay. The place has a lovely library, a cosy pool, and a sauna. It’s also just a few steps from the beach, so there was room for quiet walks and reflection. I ran a yoga retreat here a couple of weeks ago, and from my first message asking about availability until we left feeling rested, the whole experience was wonderful. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-organised retreat surrounded by nature and good energy. 🫶☺️✨

There’s a lot of greenery around Tree Roots Retreat, so bring mosquito repellent. Every now and then you may hear music from the nearby beach at night, but it wasn’t too disruptive and felt like part of the area. The staff are kind, calm, and pleasant. Thanks, Carol, Dennis and Aaron! I always feel at home here. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and only a short walk from the beach. A lovely place to slow down and unwind. I’ll be back. =)

I’ve been coming here for years and hope to keep doing so. Dennis and Carol, who run it, are two of the loveliest and most interesting people in Thailand. It’s a special little oasis for body and mind, especially if you’re into nature, animals, exercise, the ocean, yoga, Jiu Jitsu, the local Thai community, or books.

The library was great, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming feel. Carol and Dennis made sure we were looked after, and they were warm and easy to talk with. Aaron, the owner, was great to chat to as well. Loved staying here.
