VIP Condochain Rayong 410

We spent 15 nights in Rayong Condochain, on floor 4 in room 94, booked through air bnb. The building is quite old and the public areas look worn, which had us a little concerned at first. But our apartment was fabulous, very comfortably furnished and well equipped. We had a side view of the sea, a relaxing balcony, excellent AC, a great ceiling fan, plenty of hot water, and strong Wi-Fi. The condo and the area were both quiet, just right for a restful stay. The beach is gorgeous, with soft pale sand, warm clear water, lots of tree shade, cafes, and plenty of chairs. The pool is big, clean, and a nice temperature, though there are no loungers or shade around it. The gym was out of use and empty. The laundry room was being renovated with new machines while we were there. There’s a 7/11 practically next door and a few nice restaurants too. I recommend Pama. There isn’t much else around, but it’s lovely for a relaxing visit.

The rent was reasonable and all inclusive, with no extra cleaning, electricity, or water charges at checkout. The beach is close by, though lots of places were shut in low season. The pool was good, but some tiles were missing. The complex is very tired and needs the body corporate to spend serious money on it. Many lights on my floor were out, including in the lift area, which could become a safety and security issue if it isn’t fixed. The condo I rented had no Wi-Fi, and the only connection was in reception, where it wasn’t available 24 hours. If you need reliable internet for work, this might not suit you.

A nice place right on the beach. The building is very well maintained and next to a 7 eleven shop. There’s a big pool, gym, table tennis, snooker, and a tennis court.

David took great care of the hospitality side of things. The condo was newly furnished and decorated, in an amazing spot right by the beach, with a great pizzeria ten minutes’ walk away. Five out of five. I’d stay again!
