Hop Inn Roi Et (SHA Extra Plus)

We’ve stayed at Hop Inn locations all over Thailand many times, and the standard here is a little better than other places with the same rating. The beds are especially comfortable. I’d just like to see a jug and some coffee-making facilities added.

I liked how clean and new everything felt, and I’ll be back. The hotel is by the canal near the city center, with enough parking and good facilities. The lighting in the public areas made me feel safe, and reception was quick and dependable. Noise from the hall carries into the rooms easily, though, especially early in the morning, so the soundproofing could be better.

For the quality, the price is hard to beat. The hotel is very clean and well cared for, set on a quiet little road with hardly any traffic, so it’s a good spot for a peaceful night in the city. I had my motorcycle but still enjoyed walking beside the canal to restaurants on the main city road. There’s a 7-11 within walking distance too.

The lobby feels secure, with keycard access, and there’s plenty of parking. Staff were friendly, and the WiFi was decent. The rooms aren’t huge, but even with twin beds they didn’t feel cramped. The three-foot beds were comfortable and big enough to sleep on. The air conditioners are small, but in “powerful” mode they kept the room comfortable even on the hottest days, and that setting can stay on all night.
