The dome-style tents are decent enough, but the bathroom is outside, so you have to step out at night. A road runs just behind the resort, and traffic can make the tents noisy. This setup suits the countryside better than the middle of a large town.

For a one-time novelty, it could be fun, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are unusual but clearly showing their age: the flooring is lifting, and the showers have mould under the silicone, so they leak, are mouldy, or both. The resort is on a busy road; traffic eases around 11pm, or you get used to it, but an old loud truck at 2 am will wake you. Leaving early is a hassle. It takes 30 - 45 mins because the night porter has to go to his boss's house to get your room key deposit. If you're planning to leave at 8 or earlier, arrange it when you check in. I wouldn't stay again, though maybe the mountain version is better.

Behind the hotel there's a restaurant with cozy seating inside and out. It's got a relaxed feel and is great for evening drinks, with lots of parking and a kid-friendly setup. Highly recommended!

It feels like camping, even though the hotel is right in the middle of Roi Et city, which makes getting around easy. I couldn't believe a place like this was here. The bed was really soft.
