The room was in decent shape, though the single mattress was a little hard and the floor dusty. Noise also came through easily. There’s a nearby pub or club that keeps playing loud music late into the night.

Book a room on a higher floor if you need quiet, since a nearby nightclub plays loud music late at night. There are always bike taxis around for getting about, and lots of food options nearby, especially McDonald’s if you don’t want to try local food. The breakfast wasn’t great. The room was spacious, and the WiFi was top notch. Cleanliness was average, but better than at other cheap hotels nearby. Staff were helpful, though only a few spoke English. The housekeeping staff were great too.

The new management left me disappointed. A double room with breakfast for two costs 850 baht, while one with breakfast for one is 750 baht. That makes little sense for a couple traveling together. Breakfast had very few choices, and nothing was refilled. The options were noodles, fried rice, eggs, ham, sausage and bread.

The dining area was comfortable, though the place looked a bit run down. We tried a couple of dishes: the basil pork was nice, while the Tomyum was average.

The room was spacious, and the staff were friendly. It’s quiet and clean, easy to get to, and reasonably priced.
