I’ve been coming here for years, and for the price compared with the quality of the stay, I think it’s one of the best options. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fairly quiet. It’s a small hotel, with restaurants, 7eleven, and other businesses all within walking distance. The Malaysian border is about a 10-minute walk away, and the big clubs are also nearby. The staff are very friendly.

Heavy traffic delayed us, and we arrived at the hotel at 7 a.m. on 24 Dec 2023, after booking for the night of 23 Dec and expecting to check out at noon on the 24th. When we asked for our room, they said it had already been sold to other customers. We had paid for it, so being told we couldn’t check in was terrible service.

I was on the seventh floor and could even get the Malaysia mobile network. The place is clean, has strong wifi, and the non-carpeted floors meant there was no smell. It’s central enough to walk to nearby amenities, while being away from the main road noise.

There’s a basement car park, and the location is central for getting around. The room facilities are very basic, but for what I paid, it was good enough and I have no complaints.

It’s in the town centre, with parking available. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, and the price was reasonably cheap.
