Satit Hotel

The room was clean and spacious, with a TV, closet, and small refrigerator, and the price is among the cheapest in Dannok, if I'm not mistaken. The hotel is on “Indian street,” with many Indians around, and has been there a long time. My issue was the wooden door connecting to the next room. It was locked, but sounds from the other room still came through clearly. If I'm not mistaken, the other rooms have that same kind of door too.

The place has been upgraded and is quite lovely. But this time we were on the 2rnd floor, and I really wouldn't recommend that option. We asked four times for towels, with an hour passing each time, and we also had to change the light bulbs. I hope they renovate quickly because it's nasty 🤢

The noise bothered me most. The Indian Clubs/Pubs are right in front of the hotel and blast music until the next morning, or maybe nonstop, I forget. If noise doesn't bother you, it may be fine. The building itself is very old, and although they've renovated, there's only so much they can do. Given the price, that's understandable, you get what you pay for. The location is extremely close to the borders, and both the border and market are within walking distance, so no complaints there. With a few extra bucks, I could have had a better choice.

I had already arranged somewhere else to stay because I simply couldn't remain in this room. On arrival, I found multiple leaks, and the elevator wasn't working. My room was on the 6th floor, which made things even more inconvenient. The room was completely different from the one shown on the Agoda app, whose photos and descriptions were highly misleading and far below reasonable expectations. As a loyal Agoda customer for many years, I'd never had such a disappointing experience before and felt I had to ask for a cancellation and refund. I emailed Agoda because I hadn't stayed at this terrible hotel. They said they had contacted the hotel, but it didn't reply for 48 hours, so no refund was made.
