The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony, separate bathroom and ironing area, and a good bed. We booked a standard room but were given a Deluxe room, which we were very happy about. Breakfast came with the stay, though there was only one choice: American breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage, and banana. It seemed like a nice place to relax, and we first thought about booking another night. But I had my period during the vacation and got blood on the bedsheet. When we asked what could be done, there wasn't any offer or solution. As we were checking out and asking the driver to take us to our new place, staff checked the room and called the boss. The Lady Boss told my boyfriend we had to pay 200 baht for the sheet. I said it wasn't damaged and could be washed, but she said they couldn't use it and needed to sell it to a customer. I told her I could wash it myself, and she said okay. Imagine having to wash a bedsheet during my vacation, when it was part of the service we'd already paid for.

I was really happy with the room and the service, and the staff were especially friendly. It's a great spot for a holiday if you want to get away from the noisy CBD. The price is cheap too, and I'd definitely come back. I liked it so much!

What stood out most was the service. A friend arrived from another resort without having breakfast, and they kindly offered to give them breakfast for free. The staff were always close by if we needed help, so we didn't have to go looking. Check-in was quick, the room and bathroom were clean, and the rooms are set apart for privacy. Ours wasn't right on the river, but the atmosphere felt worth the price. Since we were going out for activities anyway, choosing this place to save money made sense. I stayed from December 30th to January 1st and was very impressed.

Friendly, very good, and inexpensive. For a big group the price is reasonable, and if you're on a low income and want to relax, Araya Resort is a good choice.

The view is great, and the friendly staff make you feel at home. There aren't many rooms, though, and the pool is small. Still, it's a good place overall.
